Half life can't find the cd in reader..

I have a major problem. i can not play Half Life because i'll get the message: CD NOT IN READER, PLEASE INSERT CD (or something like that)

But The CD is in the cd rom....what can i do ? I have the same problem with all games that requires the cd in cd rom....

I have got patches to all mye other games but it does'nt seems to be anyone for HALF LIFE!!!

Gee, thi is such a hardd proble... Oh yeah! I know, GET A NEW CD-ROM, yours must be a junky cheap one.

Dont know what kind of CD-player u got man, but if u cant play any CDs in it well... its BUSTED!!! What kind a speed is on it? 2x? 4X? 6x? =)
