Logitech mouse man wheel

I have a Logitech mouse man wheel mouse (ps2). it works fine in windows and also it programs in ok in halflife (in controls - wheel is set up for cycling through weapons) buy in the game it does not work (it wont cycle "does nothing"). In windows it is set up as uni scroll but have also tried it as middle button, auto scroll and vertical scroll. nothing works. Please help

Are u sure the scroll is suppported in HL?
I got a third mouse button, but I havn't gotten mine (scroll) to work either..

Mine works perfect. I can select weopons quickly. I did not have to set up anything, it worked already.
