I tried that new PingTool utility some days ago, and it totaly trashed my ICQ & HL.
Cant even use ICQ when I play CS anymore.. That sux!
I press "internet games" and it freezes! Usually I use the Microsoft "hot" tip (ctrl + alt + del) always works :P
or i alt + tab my way back to the always reliable system Win98...
I am so glad I never see any errors or Conflicts in windows. Man that system is great...

what ahppened was the ping thing rewrote your regestry and messed up the connection from your modem to the things that run off of it i havent divised a way to go thro regedit yet but i will work on it for you, but my friend just had that problem adn had to start back at home erase everything on his HD , sucked, hope you got some buds that paly HL with a burner so they can burn you up there mods and stuff but hold off a lil longer and ill work on the regedit thing do you have icq if you do get me on your list 31872778 so i can talk easier

uh... zeus, regedit has nothing to do with his problem, regedit is for the most basic of things.

try using gamespy http://www.gamespy3d.com . to find your servers. if the problem persists try changing around your irq settings on your modem port, they may be a little messed up. to do this go to my computer and right click, hit properties. click on the device manager aka mangler and double click on your modem, go to the resources tab.

nah dude this is the same deal idiot (taylor) had member he got this ping lower application and then it messed up his regestry so he had to delete everything on his HD and start over. because the ping tool like rewrote most of his regestry so when he tried opening gamespy it would just sit at the loading screen the same way it would if you werent connected to the net and tryed loading gamespy, and icq doesn't work eithier
the only way taylors computer guy could fix it was deleteing everything andf starting from scratch, and this seems to be the same problem

hehe, dont trust sumo hell get you killed lol nah sumos smart but we talked this one over and he agrees wiht me becuz our friend ha this same problem, and i said what he ahd to do adn sumos right regedit wont do it. sorry but the only thing i know hes strat from scratch try to get a friend to burn up the stuff that youve downloaded or sumthing like that or else i hope you have cable o download all this fast cuz ide think itd be a pain

oh woops skipped that part first try sumos idea of the irq settings that may do ti too but i still think you got the same problem that our friend had and his computer guy fixer person couldnt fix it and he knows lots more than us
