Default Blast pit walk trough

I have reached the blast pit chapter and i have gone as far as turning on the power generator. I have then gone back towards the lift shaft and have come out of the lift shaft back into the big room. Question is where will i find the oxygen and fuel.

This part of the game is really easy if you know how to do it.

Since the tentacles are only sensitive to sound, you need to crouch and move very slowly around the room, or they will hear you. If you have an emergency and they hear you, throw grenades into the pit and they will move down farther into the pit for a limited amount of time. When you reach a door in the tentacle room, quickly crowbar out the boards and run in. One door goes to power, the other goes to oxygen and water. Once you have everything turned on, return to the control room and press the "Test Fire" button, which will vaporize those annoyin' suckers. After they're gone, simply jump down the hole where they came from.

I am stuck in the same area, only.... I have the power on and I can't get back to where the big animal is because the water always kills me because its now zappy. lol, do I have to start the whole level over? I cant go forward because..... its a zappy power generator with nowhere to go. I cant go back because a pool of water kills me everytime I try to cross. Any ideas? I have tried pushing the blocks into the water but it doesnt do anything because I still dont get enough room to jump accross the pool.

I really can't remember that part but

That water puddle you crossed earlier is now electrified. You'll have to drag some boxes which are lying around over to the water, and shove them across. Make a bridge as far as you can, then jump up on then and leap across. Make your way back to the tentacles, hopping gaps in the floor where needed.
