demo or no demo
 

instead of me downloading the mega-huge 50mb demo, i thought i would ask if half-life is good enough for me to just buy. i know all of you will obviously say "it's awesome, go get it" but is it worth dishing out the cash to get it? i have downloaded 4 games in the last 2 days, totaling like 300mb, and my hd is only 2.1gig, so, getting the demo basically aint an option, so, your assignment is to give me 20, reasons why to get half-life, its due soon http://boards.ironkite.com/smile.gif

I think theres a smaller version of the Demo available. Like 15MB's or so.

1)Buy the game. it's worth it.

and redm the 15mb demo is only if you have halflife already.

i decided to spend my hard earned money on half-life. i ordered it from gamedealer. anyways, what is the "game of the year edition"? i know it has more stuff, but it costs a hella lot more. so i just got the regular cuz it was cheaper, should i have gotten the game of the year edition? if so, please give 20 reasons why. http://boards.ironkite.com/smile.gif

No you shouldnt have bought it. All it has is TFC witch you can download for free. It is 20mb and if you dont want to wait that long I guess it would be worth it.
