For fun lets try and guess the system requirements and release date:p I think they will be somewhere around here:

Min:
-AMD 3000+/ pentium 4 3ghz
-1.5GB RAM
-Nvidia 6600GT/ ATI X1600

Rec:
-AMD 3500+/ pentium D [If it supports dual threading then Dual Core would be nice.]
-2GB RAM
-Nvidia 7600GT/ ATI X1900

I think he means requirements for the pc.

The Geforce 7600 GT is much slower then any Radeon X1900.

Anyway, I will neve be able to run it on PC. Unless I get a PS3 or a Xbox360 but that would be a waste of money...

Pc does what to who..??? Never.. When a gta comes out straight to pc, then call me, till then.. Console will always own you pc players lol.. Na just funnin so chill lol lol..

Indeed, it hasn't been officially stated that GTA IV will be released for the PC. If we take a look at the other GTA's, we will notice that they have been released for the PC so as FeelFree said, we will have to wait and see, and hope.

I don't see the point in having just one or the other, I myself have both an XBOX 360 and a high-end PC. Best of Both Worlds IMO.

If it released on PC it'll be released 5-6 months after the inital release like the rest of them.

The Specs won't be UBER High like you need a 4GHZ Dual Core processor and 8GB of RAM, the graphics aren't THAT amazing... but you will need alot of Space no doubt... maybe take up about 7-10 GB, all I can guess right now, but we'll see.

Probably the console, unless all the PC users what want to get GTA4 upgraded their computers before release.

the graphics will be watered down when it hits the PC so it might just be ok.....but....i will be waiting for it on PS3.......i sex my PS3 everynight

My PC has more or less the same Power as a PS3 so if they water the graphics down it wouldn't make any sense. You will need quite a high end PC to run it on full Graphics with all the HDR and stuff though...

By the time GTA 4 comes on the pc the hardware spec will not be a big deal same with the games graphics.

Yeah well, PC supports DX10 and no consoles do so, yeah...

Just for fun to make a guess(Since it will be a port), i'd guess around:

Size: 15 GB(considering its 20x as big as San Andreas)
Ram: 4 GB
Graphics: Nvidia 7800

The bright side is we atleast have a release date now.

I think I read in game informer that it isnt no where near the size of San Andreas. But any how, I would guess only 1 gig of ram and about 5 to 10 gigs of space.

You can buy a Dx 10 video card for the pc.
The PS3 and Xbox 360 are only limted to DX 9 stuff.

Its not gonna be 10-13gb ram, thats just sooo crazy. I dont know about anyone else here, but I cant put that much ram in my pc.. This thread is starting to get out of hand.. Another post like that I will close this so fast.. Dont come in here and spam my house with that poo anymore.

If history repeats it self then GTA 4 for teh pc will be released in Q1 or 2 of 2008.

The recommended RAM will be no higher then 2G for sure.

That's probally. do you got any proof to back up that statement?
Becuase It's still possible that they amp up the detail for teh pc version, demeamding for more then 2 gigs of ram.

Ok till we know in like 6 months to a year after this game comes out on xbox and ps3 we shall reopen this thread.
