Default Transparency
Hi

Everytime i save signatures in gimp it lets you choose which file extension (E.G: .jpeg)

i was wondering if there was a file type that could handle transparency as .jpeg and a few others i have tried wont

P.S Does filefront allow you to use sig's with the file extension .xcf (GIMP Files)

Png and GIF files handle transparence. Make sure you don't merge your document to base before you save and convert it to either one of those.

However Internet explorer only recognises transprancy in GIF's.

GIF's tend to look 256 Colors-ish. Or at least in my experience.

You are correct. GIFS are 256 colours.
