What are renders?

Where can i get them from?

Render is just a object on a bg.

The opposite would be the object with a finished backround and diffrent fetures.

Some good ones are Gamrenders-http://www.gamerenders.com/

And clantemplates-http://www.clantemplates.com/renders/gallery/

Below is an example of a render by itself than the render put into a whole image. Hope this helped

He means that the 2nd one isn't a render. The 2nd picture is an example of what you'd get a render out of, whether it be a picture, or a wallpaper, etc. Good places to find renders are Gamerenders (I post and use renders from there), and Planet Renders.

There are many definitions for a render.

A render is usually a huge source image, which will be resized to use within a game or image. It is generated in some way by a computer or an artist.

For example, to test the ability of some game engines, they have it render a huge version of a character - the Master Chief in Halo in the above image.

Renders can also be the result of a mathematical algorithm, such as Apophysis Flames.

Best of all, look it up in dictionary.com or Wikipedia.

or, it could always be an image of a game character for example cut out from a background
