Picking up TNT..

Yes it could be done, although I think it may be a little to easy to stop
the objectives being done (as Gringo suggested)... Something to think
about though

Molotovs not exploding properly on Hacienda map.... I'll look into this,
thanx Wild West dk

EDIT: fixed.. weird problem, it seems the hight the molotov was
thrown, when looking staight up (standing) meant that its velocity
on impact was at the exact speed, so it would not be calculated
properly !!!, if one crouched and threw or jumped and threw, it would
be ok.. to fix, I simply added a few extract units/second velocity,
and now it works ok.. like i said odd problem, but now seems to be
fixed

lol queeg, I give ya points for creativity
I think it would kind of unballance the game a bit though. I do like the fact that you must 'drop your weapon' first. lol

@ WildWest.. It may seem as though its ready, but I have a lot still do-to

I may release a Public 1.4 beta though, but I would rather wait till
everything is finished & polished.

Default porting to Enemy Territory

Hewster, please dont blame me for this. You wrote you have still much to do with beta2. But one simply has to think about this - I think.
As all of you know activision/idsoft released EnemyTerritory short time ago. It has been released for Win/Lin and is available for free download. It is still gaining popularity.
Last weekend a mapeditor had been released and first new maps for ET can be loaded down.

Would it be possible to make WW available for ET and thus increase the number of players dramatically (At least this would be an opportunity to do so)??

I played the Betaversion of ET and as you also can see in lots of the posting in the wolfenstein newsgroup it is a fact, that ET-Betaversion is jerky. I don't know whether the final version of ET is jerky but if it is, then i don't understand people switch to it when they used to play wolfenstein or WW which has a much better smooth nonjerky graphic.

Maybe this is very much off topic but I have to answer to this.
I played ET final on my linux box for many hours and cannot complain any error in the game. It works perfectly. The same goes for the windoze version - a friend of mine plays ET on an AMD TB 1,2 Ghz and with some kind of old fashioned ATI 16 MB grafics. It runs very smoothly.
The most important reasons for many people to switch from any game to ET maybe: It is new and you don't have to pay a buck for it. You may copy it, hand it to a friend and thus increase the number of players - which makes ET a success in the community (though many players stay with RtCW).
