Sorry to say, but no. We are very close to getting it done, but Hewster has had to deal with moving to a new home. As soon as he gets back on line, we hope to get back to work on it.
I wonder which new maps are in building state for 1.6?
_ I've heard about boulderdash...BTW will MINES (old map) be released for 1.6 or was it too buggy to work more on it?
Just curious
Thanks.
psst for a sneek peak at all the new maps for 1.6 (currently that is) take a look at my arial shot thread. This has a top down shot of all the maps for 1.6 (new, old, and modified) for 1.6. Also I'll be posting overlayed shots too (52 color photos with drawings and arrows and writing on the back) that will show both new (and new to 1.6) folks where to go.
I haven't talked to the rest of the mod team on this but I'm going to push for new beta test version for the 25th. The testing will primarily cover the new installation program, the new launcher program, and new banning features. A new feature has been added for spectator mode, which we'll have to decide to keep or drop and the new fun mode will need to have injury messages tested:
"JOhn just winged The Cisco Kid's Right shoulder."
Hewster has some new code that fixes some of the bugs we found in the last beta but we need test my new code too and we may as well get that done. It's changed since what I sent to Hewster anyway.
So, I think In a week and a half we should have some 1.6 action again.
We are the Queeg. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile. YeeeHaaa!
Yessss!!!! Bring on the 1.6 Queeg! Im ready for some testing....been getting rusty!! Last time I played 1.6 was with iggy and no offence to iggy its just not the same with only 2 players...
