OK, but keep in mind that not all people have a registry for their wolfenstein - so you sould make an installer which doesnt need this. Also it should be tested on Win64 which will comming soon IMO (some peeps might use beta aleraedy)

Iam still wondering why you hide it! Just say in which way it will work.
"the current system being abused" - lol, isnt this a bit over the top?

The world has largely moved on since the time when people run programs using parameters. While it is better for people like you and I, it is not the world others live in

Thats wrong. To have a launcher which you can easily start by mouse click doesnt mean that it doesnt understand options.
See for example the *nix Video player xine - which is the best, fastest and easiest video player Ive ever seen. You can watch nearly all existend Video/Audio encoded files from different medias and even different remote streams just by a mouseclick in your file or webbrowser. But furthermore it gives you full professional control in commandline, see manpage here:
http://linuxreviews.org/man/xine/
Moreover xine also got a binary interface so other Programs can use it in fastest way.
Another example is "lame" the best mp3 encoder - 100s of options and binary interface. Of course here the usual User needs an external GUI for point'n'click but IMO each GUI whicht is not able to direct options/parameters to lame is poor.
Its wrong to think "the usual user is stupid" so he dont needs a good/flexible program.
Where is the prob to direct options from TheWildWest.exe to wolfmp.exe?
BTW a really improveness for RTCW would be that even Clients can recieve rcon commands (actually it works only in servers mode IMO). Is this possibe to solve in the open source part of RTCW? (Of course which feature should be disabled by default for safety reasons)
I got a couple of Ideas (mostly gimmicks) what to do with that functionality. You could send all kinds of messages to your client depentently on all differnet events for instance:
- a message "Who is on phone" - if its ringing (If game is exciting I dont pickup but could be an importand call

- a message if one of your friends joins another server/game
- recieving ICQ messages (yes there is a flexibe commandline ICQ client)
- let ASE you connect to another server instead of starting a 2nd client
There are a lot more ideas - all I need to do this is the possibility of rcon ---> RTCW-client.
AND why you dont go to ET finaly? Do you want to wait until this game is dead too? Actually there are about 2000 servers and ?xxx000 players - Still a big source for new players. WW will dying if you dont move it.
