Help in making a map, this is mapping section right?
 

I want to make a map for AAO, my own map, enybody can help me? i tried searching on google for map editor and nada.

I heard user-made maps are only on single player, or LAN, i want to make a map enyways so can enyone give me a link for a map editor/help me make my map?

good luck. I heard u can use hex tools, but that's only 2 degrees sparated from coding in binary. the Devs have not released the map tools, so you're basically out of luck.

well making maps in AA is illegal for a start, even though i dont know why they kept the mapping section here

the AA game is technically Government property so we can't mod it

WHY IS THERE A 'MAPPING, MODELING & SKINNING' SECTION HERE IF IT IS ILLEGAL TO MOD!!!

It is illegal to mod/map make this game at the moment, therefore, you wont find a single map editor. The reason there is a map forum, is becuase the website came with this forum by defalt.

They have (the devs) been deciding weither or not to allow a map editor for future versions (such as the next one or the one after), but you would only be able to play maps that are approved by the devs themselves in future versions.

Because this is the default game-specific layout. If you look at all the other game forums here, you will find the same subforums.

YOu can use some UT tools/apps..to edit or whatever..u want.
Search for UT tools on the web to get more stuff & infos...

Perhaps, but it is still illegal to mod or map this game at this point in time.
