Newbie's Section?????
DeathsRose
September 11th, 2003 08:54 PM
Is there some way, or some GROUP, that could start opening up a server that only allows 15 HONOR or LESS for those of us that are NEW and would like a CHANCE to LEARN how to play the game without getting blown away almost instantly by those ranked 20-30 PLUS HONOR that already know the map, know the shortcuts, know all the "KNOWS"???????? (or worse yet, having persons joining in the games with some of us much lower "honor" pointed persons just to whip the crap out of us just to gain him/her self some "easy" honor points.)

Plus.... IF!, this is possible...... all of us "newbies" wouldn't be aggravating (and pissing off) all of you older and higher honor pointed persons that can not stand "newbies" to be in your games when you are playing with your fellow "clan" members and such.

Quitely frankly, I would LOVE to learn this game, but it is hard to learn when I am dead within the first few minutes of getting into a game, or getting KICKED for being a newbie in a game and accidentally shooting a fellow team mate simply because I am not familiar enough with the "mechanics" of this game. It is also hard to do when folks just flat out won't let you.

...and this IS the first "team-type" of game i have ever played, so it truly is very difficult for me to learn it. ((the ONLY other game I have ever played online in my whole LIFE is Diablo II, LoD, but I lost my playing partner in that game.))

Thank you for your time,
DeathRose

P.S. Yes, I have seen a few of the "training" rooms open, but they are always locked, so I can only assume these are for "clans" and such.

hey man! have you checked the filter option? ithink there is a option there so you can search servers with honor caps so no 60 honors can come in or something like that.. iremeberd a homelan server(iguess) in 1.7 that was max 21 honor on hope that helps becasue i dont think they made the game so noobs always had to playagainst more experiensed players hope that solves you'r question

You should try to practice offline for a while. It will help familiarize you with the maps. Know where the objectives are is a big thing(indoor stuff, insurgent camp, weapons cache, pipeline, etc.) Just give it time, you'll get it. I hate seeing other impatient players votekick people because they are new or lost. There are 10 minutes per round. Use them if needed. Good luck.
