No User Record, and other stuff

When I log in instead of transmission completed, there is a message saying NO USER RECORD?.Does anyone else have this problem?. and when I enter a server I get all these weid messages. One time it said authorization complete and then it kicked me out, another time it said Failed Authorization : COmmunication Error: check the release notes for additional information. . When I first installed the patch today i was playing fine, then I went to medic training and I got a timed out message, and after that I started gettinng all of thes problems.

I just got another message, and this one said Failed authorization, this server is not registered as an authorized server.

Re: No User Record, and other stuff

First of all, the No User Record error is caused by lots of people trying to log in at once. Three steps to get rid of it: 1. Make sure that you have an account and your password and name are entered correctly. 2.Try waiting a few minutes for the swell of people logging in to calm down and try to log in again. 3. Try uninstalling AA and doing a clean full install of 1.9.

For the "Failed authorization" thing, the server is not authorized. That means that the person who runs it hasn't gotten it authorized by America's Army. So basically, you can't play on it until it gets authed. Just go on official ones! Another few tips: 1. Try using the "EDIT" button instead of double-posting. It pisses people off and sometimes is considered as spamming. 2. Post these kinds of posts in the "Problems, Help and others" section of the forum. If you don't, a moderator will.

It's a great game, I wouldn't leave just because there are a few bugs. You must understand, this game is not like other games. Other games are finished 6-7 months before they are released, during which after the "finished" date, they have 6-7 months to beta test to polish it up and remove as many bugs as they can. With AA, the developers can't release a patch every 2 years, so they are rushed to finish it, and beta test it for about 1-3 weeks. These are totally different things, and as you may notice with other multi-player games, they may only get updated once or twice in their short life. AA is constantly being updated, and be advised that it's very inexspensive, only about 3 cents for taxpayers, and it's free to players under 18.

You know, I read in a Semptember issue of a gaming magazine that the Army is planning on continueing this game for about 10 years. 10 years of this game would rock!! Just think of the possibilities! Where will you be in 10 years? I know where I'll be, behind a kick butt computer playing AA:O version 20. LOL

Smitty025 August 19th, 2003 08:55 PM

NICE!!! 10 years is a longtime though. By then this game will be a world religion:bows:, have its own country:thumbsup:, or be forgotten:o. But i think after the devs stop makin offical patch ppl with experience in the unreal game engine willmake their own updates and it wont matter because there will be no offical servers anymore.

Re: No User Record, and other stuff

In 10 years, hopefully we will have true 3-D virtual reality AA. NOW THAT WOULD ROCK!

lorenc666 August 19th, 2003 09:02 PM

Re: No User Record, and other stuff

Since this game has grown so much in one year in mb, it would probably need like 500 gigs of hard drive memory in 10 years, lol.
And it would probably be played in virtual reality consoles. lol

Oh and the virtual reality thing, it took me so long to write the post that silentshadow said it befor me.

Re: No User Record, and other stuff

Lol in 10 years you could find a 100 terabytes (100 million gb's) easily.
