Maybe he meant the INIs that SCI have? In any case, INIs are there to be edited, right? If something bad happens if you edit them, then that setting shouldn't be there in the first place. I hope they fix it soon.

Believe me that's what a dev said! Damn you're a big fool to say that solidsnake. Do a search on the forums to find something like "Unknown reason?" or a thread like that and it'll be in there. As for ofcr KAH, it was an ini that was in the user's system.

Okay, I looked at a bunch of threads and asked in the IRC channel. Nothing about the problem in the forum (not even a progress message). Nobody in the IRC channel knew any more either, not even the AGA staff (just told me what I knew from [DEV]Abraxas's post in the forum).

I guess you must've misunderstood or been mislead by someone. In any case, a lot of the other threads with posts from [DEV]s and moderators say that you can edit INI files without any problems.

How many times should I repeat this?
A developer said that there was a wrong setting in punkbuster, and that SCI couldn't fix it, Homelan was trying to get it fixed and the problem itself kicks people with edited .ini's for unknown reasons.

Okay, now I understand what you say. BTW, there's no record of such a statement, but I don't see why you should lie.
