new AAO idle 1 Attachment(s) do you think so?i dont like it!!! |
ok first off nice job with makeing the pic...but dangit im tired of hearing about this girl! She did nothing to deserve all the media coverage. She was a POW for what, 3 days? Big freaking deal. I know guy that was a POWs for 6 months in vietnam! Probably in a cave being tortured, not sitting in a hospital recieving medical care. And did he get any media coverage, or even recognation for what he did? NO! i mean yea crappy deal that she got shot and taken POW but she doesnt deserve all this...... [Xenomorph] Your opinions are your own, but there is no need to swear. |
sry [Xenomoprh] wont happen again...got a little carried away:uhm: |

Just try to show a little respect. She was a POW of the Iraqi army (who are not known for treating POW's very good) and lost a few of her comrads (found in the same hospital room with her). You may not agree with the media attention she is getting, but she doesn't deserve to be smack-talked. |
Did nothing to deserve the media attention?? How about protecting not only mine.. But EVERYONE's FREEDOM!! And I agree that your friend got the bad end of the stick. I think that anyone who protects our country and our freedoms is a hero in my book(There are some exceptions of course). I think that everyone in vietnam got the short end of the stick. They too should be proud of themselves. They are also like the people of operation "Iraqi Freedom," in that MOST of the people who went to vietnam didnt choose to go there... they were ordered by the president to go. So dont hate the solider.. they are doing a service to us and our country!! thats just my opinion. and though I am tired of hearing about Jessica Lynch... I will let her have the lime light for a while because even though she wasnt a main part of the battles... She was helping to defend our freedoms. |
I dont HATE her! I have NOTHING against her! Just "She gets more attention than necessary!"! :lookaround: |
Then don't smack-talk her. If anyone's to blame, it's the media. |
I didn't "smack-talk" her! Stop DEFENDING her! |
Children Children....... |
Settle .....damn. He wasn't talking shit about her. He was just getting some crap off his chest about how it's rediculous how much attention this is getting.I'm sure that person's quite fed up with it too.The only attention I'd be getting if rescued would be negative ....cuz' the first ******* reporter that shoved his camera in my face would be low crawling back to the van dragging his camera by the mic cord hanging out of his ass. Settle down dude just wanted to pay tribute to someone that's had a hardass week.I'm curious... I kind of stopped watching when i stopped seeing shit blow up but what happened to the rest...were they the bodies they found? and if so why was she the only one spared............ |
hey we all feel sorry for her, but i feel sorry for all the pow's and the dead, we should show them respect and organise a parade or reception or something, but mostly ensure the financial well being of the families who have lost parents/wives/husbands cause although it is important no one will remeber these people who are on tv when they need a job to pay there way (and there r those that cant) The other thing is the special forces dead, will these have the same rights etc. as the ordinary soldier or will it be a denial that they r there etc etc. |
The reason she is so popular right now is because she is like the first POW who was saved from the Republican Guard. It's also because she has evidence of what they did to the POWs. She was also the only surviver on her whole platoon that got out alive, her platoon was either shot at close range or assainated (Shot in the back of the head) or someother cruel way to kill someone. |
it is certainly a bad way to be treated. |
I guess its just me but who is she? |
the young lady (19 i think) who was rescued from a hospital/prison camp/torture palace whe was US military and was the only survivor she had really bad wounds but unsure as to whether caused by torture or not. might be more in US about it. |
She recived the gunshot wounds when she was helping her group fight off the ambush, killing several f***ing ragheads in the process. Her broken ankles were because she was hanged upside down naked. (And no jokes, you perverts). The rest of her wounds were from being tortured. And it is not her fault that the media in this country constantly talks about it. I thing the term is "Beating a dead horse". If some reporter was hounding me, I would shove his camera so far up his ass, there would be a big lump in his throat. Her family is probably fed up by now as well with all the coverage. So please stop fighting like a bunch of bratty children over this. Is it her fault that the media is harping on the issue? I think not. Just be glad that she was rescued and is still alive. |
the media sucks, they r so anti war and they report all the bad things over and over, 2 civilians die we here about it 4 hrs, 4 soldiers die in a cowardly suicide attack and it gets glossed over, seems they r not so good t reporting the bad things the enemy do |
