Is there a prog out there that will unpack the S-PlayerCommo.uax file so that I can edit my own commo pack?



Nevermind. Found what I needed.

Bind the codes into user.ini! ;)

Bright kid. I already know that, I just needed a prog that would unpack the commo sound file do that I could find which sound had which number bound to it in the commo file. I found the program I needed to do that with tho. Saw it in another thread.

Azzkicker,as stated in a previous thread about changing AA Sounds that its illegal,why are other games having it done?Isnt there a modding section in AA that alows one to mod weapons?I was also wondering cause those grenade and AK sounds are sure crappy.

Since when is modding illegal? Take a look at BF1942. You don't see cops busting the Desert Combat creators.

PS: I would like to see the document declaring mods for AA illegal.

Modding is not illegal but it is against AA rules.. and servers can check u have not modified anyfiles.. altho its super laggy ..( u can get banned for modding )

The reason AA won't let you mod stuff is all due to their countermeasures of cheating. Since they need to check to see if there are illegal skins (for wallhacks), edited variables (for miscellaneous programs to allow cheats) and illegally modified weaopns with incredible accuracy, they banned modding of any files. If you can get away with modifying some files, you won't be able to join any servers. Now, if you are just unpacking a file (and keeping the original in its place) to see the contents like the original poster of this thread intended, thats not illegal. But he won't be able to modify the stuff, then repack it and put it in AA as he will not have the same file as the server or as PB is built to recognize and he will either be banned by PB or the game won't allow him to join.....
