1. I can still read transimissions from live players when dead
2. I sometimes can't use spectate mode when dead (I'm left starting at a wall
3. Nades have been altered (probably purposely)
Anyone else getting these?
Why explore space? Why, indeed, did we trouble to look past the next
mountain? Our prime obligation to ourselves is to make the unknown
known. We are on a journey to keep an appointment with whatever we are.

I just wanted to post info that while playing the new map Radio_Tower I was on assault and the majority of the time i could not hear my footsteps. I think others could not hear them also as i was able to easily sneak up on people (more than usual). I am running a p3 800mhz, 512mb ram, SBLive audio, on win2k. All my windows and drivers are up to date, including directx9.
2. Definately a bug... I haven't had this problem yet, however. /me crosses fingers
3. Yeah, the nades have been changed purposefully. WHAT A PAIN! Bah! I don't like the new nades at all.... oh well, as long as I can have my trusty saw!
my frames only went up inside buildings.....out side at radio tower and im getting like 10-20 fps which blows!! ATI 8500le 128 that is probably my biggest problem..lots of ram..low clock speed..... ne one know something i can use to tweak it?

1. It hasn't always been like that. When dead, you could ALWAYS read global chat from live players. But what he means is, when dead, he can still hear read the radio conversation of his dead players.
I had that same problem. I couldn't view anything, except the wall i died by. I couldn't talk to other dead people, but i had the radio messages (opforces too) coming on my screen.
On Radio Tower....objects at a distance become transparent ( walls, the crashed APC, people ) not tottally invisible.. but all i can see it a figures out line moving around...even behind walls.
