About the 1.6.0 Patch & Full Version

There is no official 1.6 patch. Many users have had success using this patch, however the only "official" way to upgrade is by downloading and installing the full 1.6 game. This patch will not be supported by the AA development team.

The file we´ve had up since noon PST march 17th is the one pileplanet and fileshack have up too. We took the file down for a while because of the uncertainties and the lack of information from the army´s end.

The file we and militarysim hosted was uploaded by one of the members of the development team and soon thereafter mirror by other sites (or uploaded directly).

Anyway the patch seems to work just fine and there´s still no patch available and there prolly won´t be. Right now, I´m posting the full 1.6.0 version so anyone that wants to be 100% sure they got the right goods, should download those whopping 373.85 MB

Full Version posted, I got it through FileShack from the official site and it works fine for me! It is unfortunatelly around 375 Megs :( But you can always burn it on CD :)

If u got it off http://ecommerce.amercasarmy.com then wouldn't it be illegal to put it here?? Because we won't pay for it from here so it will be like a warez file!!! :eek:

We got it from FileShack, it's still uploading though. FileShack got it from Akamai.net / ecommerce.americasarmy.com
And the $2 is for the service, not for the patch. Yet it remains strange they premiered the patch through a paid-only service.

But I´ll post here once the full version is up

Why did they charge $2 for the FULL 1.6 install???
If its for the "service" then its ok to distribute the file free isn't it?

I don´t know @ $2, however, to pay $2 for a game that is and has been free up to this point I suggest people don't whine about it :)

OK! Your right......but.....for people abroad of USA with hackers etc...

i downloaded 1.6 full from fileshack and it is laggy as crap.i type something in and it doesnt pop up till like 15 seconds later.they rushed 1.6 and it is just as big of a disaster as 1.2.0. and i hope they fix it as quick as 1.2.0.

.....btw, some ppl are saying that the 1.6 FULL is laggier than the patch! Is that possible??? Because lag depends on your connection right?
