my 1 giga byte map i 've some unpackes so now i have all the ras files unpacked in the data dir. but whnever i want to compile just a simple map it usees all the data from the ras files and ends up with givin me a 1 giga byte map. i think i have to change the compile line but i'm not sure what to. i'm currently using this line "rasmaker -a data third.mpm" so how can i get rasmaker to just compile my map and not include all the useless data from the ras files? |
delete from the data folder that which is not needed |
but say i'm using all the data (even though i'm not at the mo) and for one map i don't need the data about camerapaths but for the next map i want to change the camerapaths. so instead of deleting camerapaths from the data and then in the next map when i would need it putting it back in again is there anyway i can just exclude the camerapaths file by changing the compile command so it only includes some of the files in the data folder? |

i presume you mean 100mb not 1gb, and the answer is no, it is a simple program and it can compress the folder you tell it to there are no special commands, just the basics. [This message has been edited by mash (edited 07-31-2001).] |
