Editor Funny texture size problems??

Ok some tiems you create a room and the texture is way to small for the rooms size so it tiles every where .l eaving al oad of crap ..... but when u re-size it texture shrinks with it ..... i sorted it by making rooms smaller but on some Tutorials i see people using a huge giant white square and i use only 4 tiny blue squares ???? but there texture ****s up ... but then again some tutorials do that and there texture is fine ..... i cant test to see if my map is the same hieght as max or to low so i can only hope its correct ?

Please help how big should a normal room be for me it seems 5x5 for base and 2 hieght or more if texture problems ??

But it seems that is is becomming a problem when u change the ihehg of a room the texture changes so u cant re-texture old rooms with out it beign to big....

Soz if im talkin **** but i know one of you will understand....

Ok im off to create some textures of my own for my map.......

As far as room size goes, you can see the size of your room in meters when you model it. Look in the bottom right corner of the MaxEd window around the status bar. It should be giving you the dimensions in meters.

I'm not fully sure of your texture problem, but it sounds like you're already using the scale option. When you use scale, make sure you change BOTH values at the same time, otherwise MaxEd has a tendancy to link the two aspects and adjust the other one accordingly. Also, try it out with the 'Per Polygon Length' option. I'm not sure if this helps, so if it doesn't, sorry.
