Need help please! =(

First off is using the rasmaker to make the .mpm files the right way of doing it? i.e. rasmaker -a XXXX XXX.mpm ...if it is, everytime I zip me up a .mpm file all the files in there go corrupt, any suggestions? or if I'm doing it wrong what prog do I use?

1.) Make sure you are rasmaking only files you edited, everything else is unnecessary.

2.) Make sure your new files are in a folder called "data", and type:
rasmaker -a data xxx.mpm

Okay I thought that worked. I can edit my globalconfig just fine, when I try a sound, I have my data(globalconfig)\database\sounds\menu\ and in there my modded slomo_heartbeat.wav I make my mpm but when I run it, I get a globalconfig not readable error.... any suggestions anyone?

Have you edited a sound?
Please be more specific about what you changed/added in the file...

what I did was replace the existing wav file with one of my own... it's larger and longer, is there a size limit?

ReBel[importedFF] July 31st, 2001 12:13 AM

There may be a size limit, but I would check type of .wav file first.
If the old .wav was 8 bit, mono, then the new one needs to be the same.
It could be 16 bit stereo or whatever - just match the same type then try again.

Well thats gotten me past those lines of problems, logic dictates that if these small problems are stopping me, I have no business continuing =)

Thanks much
