Definatly a Pain of some sorts

I would just like to say that the Models, Textures & Skins are GREAT! But.. I can only play for 6 seconds. I think the programmer(s), should be fired immediatly. This is just bad, wait forever for a game to be done by one of the top game companys ever- 3DRealms- then they give the job to a hole in the wall -Remedy- and now 50% of us are screwed. I think Remedy is gonna have alot of money problems after this... since I don't think anyone is really going to buy another game with their name anywhere around it. I just hope this doesn't effect 3DRealms.

o for gods sake. let it go man. remedy did an awesome job and no one is appreciating it. i can guaruntee you that any action games remedy makes in the future will be bought my me.

They did a great job? HOW!? I can't play the damn game on my computer, and neither can half the people in this room. Remedy blows harder than a Hurricane. They spent so damn long making this game, and it's buggier than Daiktana and Tribes 2 combined. At least I'm able to run both of them. I'm using what I would consider a pretty Generic Computer (built it myself) and I have not 1 game -besides Max Payne- that DOESN'T work. Remedy really screwed this one up.

well now i see the problem. as you tried to install max payne it noticed daikatana on your hard drive and refused to go anywhere near it. (its too 1337 to be seen with daikatana. they had a nasty argument a while back and....rivalries were made. dont worry theyre in therapy though. im sure that the next patch will resolve their differences)

I have to agree dude. I think if Remedy wants to stay alive after this, they gotta do some sort of recall. This is really crappy to rip people off for this. Or, maybe they'll just go bankrupt. But me and my friends wasted $150. But, maybe they'll come out with a patch (it'll end up being 40meg with all the problems that are being reported)

alot of games that are coming out now have lots of bugs.just be patient and wait for a patch or return it and buy something else.thats all i can recommend.

Can't you think of something more original besides "You live in your parent's basement, nerd" ****? You think I'm the only person who got screwed? I'm the only person who is ****ed? I'm the only person who thinks this is complete bull****? I'm not. I have seen alot of people who are bitching. This whole Max Payne thing was poorly done. It took YEARS to make. Then, it comes out buggier than any game I have ever played.. hell, it's buggier than WINDOWS. And, it's shipping dates ended up screwed around. And then after all of that, we can't return it, and our problems are mostly ignored. I emailed tech support twice.. no reply. And I have to listen to little bitches like you try to screw with me? I got ripped, along with 75% of the people who bought it. Usually its "the poor unlucky few who have a problem." With this crap it's "the lucky few who don't have a problem." So, you send me $50 bucks and I'll **** in a box for you, and send you a corny mousepad with it. Until then, don't try to argue with me!

P.S. Thanks Amigo, at least you somewhat agree with me. And, what's your problem with the game?
