Definatly a Pain of some sorts

i only saw one or two complaints about not being to run the game and a few having problems with the editor on this page.there may have been problems before the patch but now there much less common.if your not patient enough to wait for another patch then i guess you'll just have to **** yourself because theres nothing you can do.why dont the few of you complaining do us a favor and shut the hell up because you won't get the game running by bitching and complaining.

I think it is the programmer's fault. If I were Remedy, I would be working 24/7 to get a patch out before they end up with 4 million copys of Max Payne sitting in their office. With no place to go. And Matt, if you don't complain they might not take the problem seriously. I emailed them about all 3 problems (on each computer) and never got anything back + the patch isn't fixing too many of the problems. I still see messages with "I installed the patch and it didn't help" and the such. I think if you just shut up and played your evendentually working copy of Max Payne, you would be doing a favor for those of us who want ours to run... NOW. I am getting mad too, I mean I really was fooled by the hype, but I think the hype was a con to get us to by a Mousepad and a cardboard box with a plastic donut for $49.99 + tax.

No fault here, and the 'If Max Payne runs bug-free on your system, post your system specs' thread shows plenty of systems where Max Payne runs perfectly on.

This is just bad, wait forever for a game to be done by one of the top game companys ever- 3DRealms- then they give the job to a hole in the wall -Remedy- and now 50% of us are screwed.

WRONG! In every way possible... Remedy CREATED this game, 3D Realms PRODUCED it and helped them out (I dunno the difference), and to state that 50% of the folks can't run Max Payne is utter bull**** and a lie! Ever thought of the fact most people with a working MP are busy playing the game instead of being here?
