32 bit slows max payne

I put everything on full for Max Payne and the game runs fine. I only have a 700 AMD 261 megs of ram, Geforce 256 64mb card. hmmm. It's also running in win2k.

I run everything maxed but I turn the textures to 16 bit as the graphical difference isn't even noticeable on 32. I average around 50fps although when I'm idling / no enemies it'll be like 80-100, although as with everyone else the Ingrams take a massive hit on the frame rate, especially on the helipad, it's those damn smoke effects, no matter what the system they'll get you everytime.

To be honest I don't think the game runs perfectly 100% of the time on any system that is not o/ced.
