HAHAHA, Skaven's a n00b!
Anyway, that's really cool that you beat out the Matrix guys to trademarking Bullet-Time™.

Who cares about "bullet-time?" It's "Miller time" Picture it:
MAX PAYNE COMES INTO THE ROOM CARRYING A SIX-PACK OF "MILLER"
3 THUGS APPROACH AND MAX PAYNE SWIFTLY AND DEFTLY DIVES TO THE RIGHT AT THE SAME TIME TOSSING A "MILLER" BOTTLE TO EACH THUG WHO IN TURN CATCHES THE FROSTY BEVERAGE IN THEIR ROUGH, DIRTY HANDS
WHILE STILL IN "MILLER TIME" SOMEONE IN THE BACKGROUND SAYS "IT'S MILLER TIME" AND A BUNCH OF HOT WOMEN COME POURING OUT OF THE DOOR BEHIND THE THUGS AND AFTER STEALING THEIR BEERS FROM THEM AND KICKING THEM IN THE NUTZ, TAKE OUT THEIR LARGE HOOTERS AND SMOTHER THE THUGS TO DEATH
MAX PAYNE IS TREATED TO A MASSIVE "MILLER TIME" ORGY, WITH REWIND AND FAST FORWARD "MILLER TIME" MOMENTS...

Huh? Whaddya think bout that one? THAT, my friends, would sell games...

ARGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH

i love the matrix... it was a great movie. HOWEVER, they did not invent bullet time. go watch some of the old gun-fight-action movies... Hard Boiled, The Killer, etc...

Well first off, it's called 'Bullet-Time' because, despite the apparent lack of fancy camera angles, you are still allowed to AIM in real-time. People do have a point though, in the fact that you hear the bullets the same time you see them. Really the sound of a bullet is made by a very small sonic-boom, when the bullet breaks the sound barrier, so you could see it before you heard it.

Incorrect... the sound you hear is not from a sonic boom, it's from the explosion that happens to be taking place inside that gun you are holding. the speed of sound, at sea level on a 70 degree F day is something in the neighborhood of 1129 ft per second... not all guns fire a bullet that has that kind of muzzle velocity...and in lots of case it's subtantailly less than that, in the neighborhood of 800-900 ft per second.
