This is killing me, I'm getting 5FPS everywhere except the main screen! Nothing is fixing this

You need to post your DXDIAG information otherwise we cannot help because we do not know what machine setup you have.

Is your detail level set to insane by any chance? Check your polygon count (hit F8 twice). I'm getting over 90,000 polygons with insane detail level now! It used to be in the 20-40s tops. Of course when it gets to 90k polygons, my geforce2mx can't handle it, so I get very low FPS too. Change your detail to vHigh or High. should help a lot.

I like the bump mapping!
