Default A Giants beta patch was released too, and boy does it suck

The Giants multiplayer beta patch that Planet Moon/Interplay released has so many bugs in it that multiplayer is rancid now.

I really hope that the Sacrifice beta patch will not have the overwhelming amount of problems that the Giants beta patch has.

Just a reminder that Giants also uses Direct X 8, and if it is a preview of the problems that Sacrifice will have, it definitely won't be worth it.

But just for the sake of TRYING out the new observer mode features and the new balancing and features, I would put the problems aside and use a beta of Patch 3.

Hopefully one day you guys will be able to squash that 2 out of 10 hosting bug, but if it really is the ONLY problem the game has (which I am going to personally doubt), then the patch definitely should be in our hands.

Just speculating here...

Considering that the only problem left in Patch 3 is a semi improved bug. No I dont think it will be anywhere near as buggy as Giants, it at all!

Doubtful. I mean, if they've tested it for so long and have only found this one bug, there isn't going to be 100s of bugs they've missed. I think the Giants beta patch was designed to be beta and hence was not as thoroughly tested.

You also have to remember, Giants was full of huge bugs to begin with.
