Poll: Going back to patch 2?

Its an intriguing idea, but I still cling to patch3 because of allied vision. I don't by any means consider myself a slow typer, but staying in touch with your ally is rather vital in an allied game. Whenever you message, you are losing time to be moving and casting, and sac is just an active game. Not to mention the allied teleport. These 2 features alone had me overjoyed when I heard it way back when in the patch3 proposal. These were 2 things I had actually expected in MP. Messaging is still important, but its much easier when you can see what your ally is up against.

Well, I've personally liked the graphics upgrades, but I don't play much multiplayer, so my vote doesn't count.

I'm all for everybody sticking with patch 2. I tried 5 or 6 online 1-on-1 games with patch 3 and every one of them got screwed at some point by the ever-lasting-lag bug. So I went back to patch 2 and not only did I have a couple of great online games, but it runs soooo much better! I had forgotten how silky smooth Sacrifice could be after playing with patch 3 so much.

Playing without all the great new stuff in patch 3 is easily worth it if you ask me. Those new features will all be good when we don't have to sacrifice framerate and online play for 'em. And since they apparently fixed the framerate problem a long time ago, I agree that an updated patch 3 that uses DirectPlay from DX7 would rock.

they shoulda just left it with #&$(#$ dx7 and added all the new balances!

Same thing with Planet Moon Studios' (old Shiny members) Giants: Citizen Kabuto...it also uses the dx8 network system and it runs like **** online with the exact same problems as with sacrifice online! MICROSOFT!!!! DAMN YOU!!!!

Untill then, P2 is a good alternative, I'm tired to get the perpetual manalith casting bug.

I suggest that those who choose to go back with p2 mark their caracter names like ex:
LeSphynx-P2

It should make it easier in the lobby
