Could anyone explain the "SoW for clarity" to a non-EQer?

My favourites are

LOL SoW aka Spirit of the Wolf is a speed increasing spell. There are two ways to get around in EQ one is to have a buddy Teleport you there (Has to be a druid or wizard) and the other is to walk there. In the latter case sow will get you there about twice as fast so people beg for it because only 2 classes can cast it.

Clarity does for mana regeneration what sow does for speed.

Hence the Druids are always shouting Will SoW for Clarity. In essence offering to trade by casting Sow on an Enchanter who in turn will cast Clarity on the druid.

Thats kind of hard to explain lol but I hope you get the drift.
