Something GOOD about insect shield
 

We'll we all know insect shields the worst but I found out something that may intrest a few anti stratos players

You take NO damage from freeze attacks while you have an insect swarm around you... I was using silverbacks today; I had 12 in circle formation(best formation for flying melee/close range units) and 4 or 5 continously were attacking the Seerix/Acheron AI and they were not freezing nor taking damage

Maybe this is only protective vs silverbacks but it could also prevent freezing from freeze and frozen ground

silverbacks sure did damage to marduk when he had it on... and if they have any shield on, you cant be frozen, just take damage...

Hmm.. well Seerix/Acheron were taking 0 damage from it while they had insect shield on

Were you in single player? Acheron has real high spell resistance so that could be why freeze wasn't working on him.

do some tests on multiplayer....thats how you find out how it affects us, cause remember, single player statistics can differ with multi =)
