Well, actually we know Zyzyx isn't from around here (or there. playing too much? :-), since somewehre in the beginning of the campaign you tell Mithras how you had ensnared that little imp ("Last time I ever fall for that one, believe me") and that it was only thanks to him that you managed to navigate the astral voids or something similar. I like to think he's a very powerful being held back in a wimpy, half-present body, a small cage for his true greatness or something like that ...
And by the way, he is the best advisor voice I can think of! His "Invalid target" just oozes of patience.
