ok im need my marduk killing tips... NOW! wellll, i knew he was gonna steal my souls (the jerk) and gaurdianed a flurry a yeti and a silverback. i just waited for his attack and cloud killed him and then a fence, after that the retard runs behind me and sits by my alter for no reasen, I JSUT CANT GET THE CHANCE TO GET HIS SOULS!!! when one of my mosnters dies he runs in to take it! arg!! well if you have a gremlin or seraph you can hold marduk down and keep him away from hias and your souls. as has been stated, the ultimate stratos spells are the worst for dealling with marduk. When I beat the game with late game stratos I used a gremlin group all of the time and it worked well. |
Brainiacs, shrikes, flurries, freeze, vines, and so on are all very useful for that kind of thing. I guardianed a flurry, two squalls, and two storm giants to my manaliths, I think. Flurries will knock him down and slow him down. To begin with, you'll just want to make sure he doesn't get even more souls. You will want to just kill all of his stuff and make sure nothing you have dies. If you don't make Lvl9 creatures, he won't use death at first. Eventually, he will die, and you can kill the rest of the creatures and take their souls. He didn't attack me for a long time after I stole all of his souls. |

If ya have stratos spells, make 2 silvers and save the other 2 in case he grabs manahoar souls. Guardian them. Never make melee against him, only ranged and flying, as mainly uses the big flyers. Now, as he comes up, fence in front of him. Then, as he turns, cast a tornado where he is going to be rounding the fence. Now, cast a cloudkill. All his locusts are gone and he is ****ed. His hellmouths will come and you shouldnt worry, the guardianed silvers will take care of them. Target the silvers on HIM, killing him, then get his Hellmouths. If you can even get one soul off this guy, then you are doing great. As soon as you get 4 souls, make a flurry. Now you should be capable of dealing w/his rushes. Only make silvers now. To destroy his manaliths, cast cloudkill on the manafountain, not on the manalith. This will make the cloudkill only hit the manalith, doing tons of damage spread out among the creatures. Ba-boom, dead creatures. He should be easy if you have silvers, as they will prevent him from casting spells. F1(quicksave) a lot. Reload if neccessary. I bore his first attack... he usually will come attack me with 1 manahoar next time. After that I just cast BI on each Avatar @ each manalith.. heh, it's ready like every 90 secs=) w/ James lvl 8, that marduk level takes like 10-15 minutes=) ------------------ Stop asking me "If I really am a..." BTW, don't immediatly use all your starting souls... try to kill off his first attack with as few units as possible, continue doing so until he has little to no souls left. Once he's out of souls build a huge force and finish the level asap =) ------------------ Stop asking me "If I really am a..."
