well i have been having some problems since patch 3 beta but i thought patch 3 final would fix it. It didnt
here are my problems :
whenever i win, before the victory box comes up, my framerate slows down and gets choppy then the blue screen comes up and says a ftala exception has occured(i could post the numbers that it says after but it seems to change everytime). after this happens my internet freezes and some programs come up in a little box and say they have performed and illegal operation. before i can connect again i have to restart which means my wins are never recorded

my other problems is that when on the internet and playing some1 and after we start and the bars finish showing that they are loading, the screen turns black and my comp just freezes, this has happened several time..

well for right now i dont have a thaum.err but ill get one as soon as possible

and all my other games like Tribes 2 and RA2 work fine and i even reformatted my computer

it has to be something with the patch cause patch 2 worked fine

Hmm try deleting all these past devices from your system settings (My Computer > Properties).

Or do a search in the registry for them and delete the relavent strings. (More risky)

If they arent there try using regedit.exe to find and delete strings containing those .drv files.

well the black scrren seem to have stopped but i just won now and i still got the blue error screen

i dont know if this is anything but i could never create a game b/c of an error after patch 3 beta and when i win like u c it says im now the host....

looks somewhere below, there you find a directx uninstaller. I think though that reinstalling directx8.0 is a better option.

btw are you perhaps using a firewall/router/proxy?

i have figured out that its not if i win it comes up and if i lose it doesnt

my game and comp crash and the blue screen comes up when i am the last 1 left in the game and al the other ppl have left

in the thaum.err it says im now the host and that is when it crashes

so it has nothing to do with winning or losing but if im the last 1 left in the game
