DDERR_INVALIDPARAMS error, Chatroom???

Where is the chatroom? I checked undernet, efnet, and enterthegame, but there were no messiah rooms. ???

My problem with Messiah:
Whenever I hit a key this error message "DDERR_INVALIDPARAMS " pops up, and I have ti hit enter to kill it, only to have it pop up again the next time I hit a key. I was able to configure and get into the game, but ofcourse this makes it unplayable. Any idea what is going wrong?

i have the same problem , tried to solve it with the new beta detonator drivers but it doesnt seem to work

Have you tried adding -s to the command line to disable sound? It might be a problem with the sound, and not the graphics.

would that be a direct-draw error? what version of directX are you using, and is it a full version?

I figured out what the problem is

its my Diamond Monster Sound MX300 Sound Card and not the graphic Card but i dont know how to fix it yet

Hi,
try going to where you installed the game and rename the file
"a3dapi.dll" to "a3dapi.ddd" (or the like) and see if that helps
