Thanks! I also posted a "bug report form" response to their webpage earlier this evening describing all 4 driver packages for the 3500 card, none of which work for Sacrifice.

Help ! - I have a yamaha sw1000xg sound card, and my sacrifice game's sound (all music and sound effects & speech) is garbled constantly (a distorted stutter) - is this a known issue?

A post about the 3dfx voodoo Banshee card, said to disable AGP-support. What exactly is that, and where can I disable it?

1. Get the latest Banshee drivers from http://www.3dfxgamers.com/drivers/latest_drivers.stm

2. Set your desktop to 16bit color.

3. Disable AGP supporton that video card.

If you still have problems with the game after that, click start, go to run, and type dxdiag. Once that window pops up, write down your direct X version, and click on the display tab and write down the driver version, approximate total memory, and device name. Finally, click on the sound tab and write down the dvice name and driver version there. Post all that information and we'll work on your problem from there.

Those things are already said as you say...
Here goes:
DirectX 8.0 (4.08.00.0400)
Display:
Device name: 3D Blaster Banshee PCI/AGP
//its PCI
Driver: 3dbbw9x.drv
Aprox Memory: 15Mb
Sound:
Device name: DirectSound (SB Live! Wave Out [A000])
Driver Version: EMU10K1.VXD

Another thing.. Its not Sacrifice related, but since i got a new comp but with same monitor, video card and sound card i havent been able to chose higher than 800x600 resolution. Do you know why?
Thaks for the help.

Any word from 3dfx about the drivers and all my previous posts?

=(

Thanks

About the Voodoo Banshee card, the 800x600 problem.

Make sure you have installed the 3Deep and Colorific program.
That solved the problem on my computer.

I'm sorry I wasn't in yesterday, guys. I still haven't heard from 3dfx, so I'll try them again today.

Matt Laws:
Is that a studio card? Yamaha only makes 2 PC sound cards (that I know of) for gaming use. The ISA OPL3-SAx, and the DS-XG. You can get drivers for either one of those at http://www.yamahayst.com/lsi/support/downloads.htm
If you have a studio card, designed for recording, you might have problems getting a DX7 certified driver for the card. I wasn't able to find the sw1000xg listed on their page.

Zargar:
Looks like you forgot to post the version numbers for your sound and video cards. Those drivers have version numbers that are independent of direct X, so I'll need to know those as well to help narrow down what the problem is.
