Giant_Citizen_Kabuto November 20th, 2000 01:58 PM

the guy said ours was going to be 1.5 up and down because we live in a small community

yeah there are two dsl speeds, dsl and dslpropack, dslpropack is four times as fast as dsl but a lot of little places(including where i live) dont have dslpropack, but i really dont care cause dsl works just fine for me

give it an hour and a half tops, usually it takes just an hour for 90 megs but it might be a slow download provider

It depends. My school runs off 6 t1 lines. When no ones on, I get 60..50..30 ping. Which is almost no lag. However, during the peak of the day.. I get 400-600 ping.

Now I know people who are on DSL and Cable who have a steady 100 pings..

So all of them are fast. But it really depends on how many people share your bandwith.
