Carl Bildt in Sweden said something that is very true, he said something like this:
"Countries today are very vurnable!
If some journalist would happen to know this before it happened, and he told everyone. What would REALLY happen???
Would they evacuate Pentagon, WTC and other important buildings???
Would they send up planes to shoot down these airplanes containing innocent people?
Would they really trust ONE guy???"
I guess no...

It´s raining outside...
I´ve got a headache...
It´s cold...
All the channels at the TV shows boring stuff...
I am bored...
The lightning may come and fry my computer...
But I´m not that lucky...
All the cats have been outside...
In the rain...
One jump up in my lap...
One in my bead...
One over the keyboard...
The only thing that is fun is the forum...
But there is no one here...
It´s Swedish summer...

I can agree with that. But this is out of shock. Currently we are talking about cold revenge, which is a different matter.

Also, what jarbe said is a proverb which basically means that whoever has the last word in an argument or the last blow in a fight "laughs longest" because the other side is beaten and cannot fight back.

Thanks TheMad, but I already know the phrase, it also exists in german. It's just not fitting in this case, because it sounds like a bloody retribution puts a smile on someones face.
An action must be taken, that is for sure, but not out of blind hate I sincerly hope.
Take care,

1. Never reveal all you know

I believe the gulf war was about us trying to make sure our gas supply kept comeing. We keep sticking our noses where it does not belong and we will be hated fairly fast. I think we are seen as golith and they would feel like they are david.
No we really didnt deserve this, but i honestly thought they were gonna use nuclear bombs in places such as the white house, and i thought they would do it around when i hit 50.
This is such a very weak attack that it was pulled off with blunt objects and sharp knifes. Im suprised they did it this soon though.
If you are going to go to war with somebody you better win so if you want to fight with "them" you better kill them all becuase you will just make your self more hated if you leave behind survivors.
a idiot like me could tell that we were gonna get it in the rear when we we werent looking. Thats why im not shocked at all about this. I honestly dont think we have any thing to fear from germany, russia, australia, china, japan. I do fear that iraq is such a underdog that it, if stupid enuff will take drastic measures to try to pull of a win but really just end up getting it self beat down.
Helgrador dont cry, people are kidnapped, raped, molested, tortured, killed on a daily basis, most of it you probably dont hear about but if you took the time to care about it all you will end up liveing a misrable life.
Those people celebrating in the streets of Palestine may very well have been celebrating something other than a couple of big buildings destroyed. They may actually have been celebrating an imminent trip to their own "Valhalla", their own "Heaven".
Long ago (1984), Meir Kahane and Yasir Arafat were scheduled to hold a debate at our high school. Arafat cancelled, leaving only Kahane to tell us how much more wonderful his people were then we, shedding light on the heart of the conflict there. Long have we sided with the Israelis there simply because they read the first half of our "book of choice". Now the war there will never end until there are either no people left to fight it, or the two religions there dissolve. Now that the US has unwillingly become a major player in this age-old conflict, one is a little more likely than the other. I'm not looking foward to the costs we will pay as a people.
I do not look foward to the upcoming events, whatever they may be, but there are still 3 people I have not been able to track down that work(ed) near Wall Street. I can't say I feel sorry for anyone that dies, innocent or not, as a means to whatever end our own crazy leader seeks to accomplish. I don't want to see lots of innocent people killed, and I was outraged at Desert Storm for killing more civilians than troops. But if it happens, I just don't really care.
I don't care because there is something I will always remember about the World Trade Center. From the top, I could see New York just as I had on the maps I collected. From the street level, it cast a long shadow on a late summer day. You could walk northward for what seemed like an eternity and still be in the shadow of one of the towers. A reaffirming shadow, a nurturing one. That shadow will never be cast again. And as far as I am concerned, someone needs to pay for that.
I just hope someone else's shadow doesn't get taken away.

Questions are a burden to others, answers a prison for oneself.

I have been in the habit of putting more smiles in my posts, and I just noticed the one in my last one. I am anything but happy right now, but i can't edit the post without deleting it.

i heard that the hijackers told the people on the plane that they were gonna die and what building they were gonna hit, then the poeple called there familys said they were gonna die and told them what building they were gonna hit.
I also heard that they slit the flight attendents throats to try to get the pilots to open up.
If this is true i blame the people for cowering. If it was me, i would have attacked becuase i have allways been taught what to do in this situation soon as i was ol d enuff to leave the house.
Yes its easy to sit back and say "I would have done this" or "I would have done that"...because I'm prepared or whatever...but the truth of the matter is that you can pretend to be as tough as you want but you never know what you'll do until you're put in that situation. We dont know the full circumstances and in all likely hood, you would have just gotten yourself or somebody else killed....If there was an easy way out, they would have taken it. You dont think all those people just wanted to die do you....
I have been brain washed into this Condition. When i was little i was told this, if some one ever grabs you or pulls out a gun or a knife and says do as i say or i will kill you, you better run and if you cant run you better fight and fight becuase there is going to be far worse than getting shot and stabbed done to you. I dont fear death as much as every body else, and if that was the situation and all they had was knifes and said you were gonna die hitting this building, i would have done a mad charge soon as some one had there back turned and do as much damage as i possibly could and if i died then i did it for my self becuase i will not go quitly.
You think its easy to say, its just as easy to do, why dont you corner me and see what fury i can release. I never would have stood by and watched some one being stabbed. NEVER.
