Some really Fun things to do in the Test
 

Ok, first of all I want to give Shiny a "Great job! Kepp up the hard work." pat on the back for all of the work they did this weekend. I hope that when the game finally comes out and does well, you all will be rewarded properly...

For us, the gamers, well, we're still just milking the Comp Test 2 program for every ounce of fun we can. It's exciting to think that the game is going to be far less buggy and totally better than the CT2. I am still playing the CT2 over and over and i love it.
I am just wondering though, what are some of the things you guys have done in terms of wakiness in the game.

I often want to clear out the chot riot room right at the end and get access to all of the good weapons, then go back into the main room from the beginnig and test them out.

I have yet to be able to spear two cops at once. With the RPH gun, I go back to where the scientists were, the room where Pederson is "fired". Well, there are two cops that stand at the top of the stairs and I'm waiting for them to stand near each other so I can try ti Harp two at once...no luck so far.

Another really fun thing to do is to grab the Maimer and then go back to the Commander room. Another Commander will come up from the lift below, it is fun to give her a close shave with the Maimer...although there is always a laser-sighted cop there to deal with.

I would have to say the funnest thing to do is to go back to the scientist and cop locker room. Harp the scientist then quickly drop the weapon. "Who me?" "I didnt do nothing..." Then you go grab the Flamethrower and all five of the cops are looking after the scientist. FLAME ON!

Onr time I was in the cop locker room and as i flammed a cop, I caught fire, so I depossesd and BOB was on fire...so now I'm in control of this flaming ball of BOB and he's flyinf around frying everyone. When the fire burns down, Bob smokes and hops around for a bit...LOL!

Anything else cool to try out while I wait for the Real Demo...

Once in the commader room I accidently threw a distortion grenade at the laser cops and they attacked the worker and he says "it wasent me! It was her! aaaaaaaaaaaaaa"

Another time as the commaner I put my fists to the cop and he says in a very bevis and buthead like voice "Your dead!"

I alsolike getting the commander to chase me to where the laser guarding the stairs is and I do the jump on the crate to get by it and she tries to go through the laser to get me and zaps herself lots of times over an over! It's very funny.

Another possesion attempt that has not happened yet is when, as a cop, I jump the laser thngs and come to the balcony where the other cop is. I shoot the cop and waith for the robot thing to come out. Then I jump, deposses the cop as he falls to his death, and then I want to try to possess the robot!!! Is that possible?!?!?!

How about possessing the scientist that gets killed after pressing the button. I tried to escape the room before they found me, I managed to do so easilly, but when I came back to the room they recognized me and blasted me.

The best EVER is getting the Commander and Bob harpooned on the same wall right next to each other...

Did you know that you can choke out an entire room full of cops with out having them notice?!?!? Our friend johnson is "fired" for the docking station accident...after the cops annialate Johnson, two cops stay in the room and two go to the top of the stairs. I choked out the two at the stairs expecting the other two below to fire at me. nada. So i went down stairs and there are two cops standing next to each other...I choke out the one on the left and the other guy does NOTHING!!! So I choke him out too. Then I got a little too cocky and went upstairs to choke out the cop HQ room. I picked the first guy I saw on the left and as soon as I grabbed him from behind the whole room attacked me...kinda cool bug I'd say...

Committing suicide...

It's a great way to get rid of enemies....

Stand somewhere so the harpoon guy can see you as a chot... Let him kill you, in prophet mode, you will automatically de-possess, then grab the next victim.

PS. Did you complete the demo in Messiah mode?

PPS. Did you bring the radiation battery down and then kill everyone with radiation?

SHINYBOSS: Yeah, I tried that Rad Worker w/ the Radiation nugget trick and i liked it pretty good...the whole room dies no matter where they are...Hmmmm, makes me curious if a Rad worker can grab some Rad and run to the CHOT RIOT Room and take them out the easy way...

Another thing w/ the Rad worker, is the often neglected, first Rad Worker room where the lone worker is conducting experiments. I went in there and crushed a Rad Worker, I thought that was pretty fun at the time...

Are you saying that in the final version of the game, possession then depossession then possession are automatic? That would have it's benefits I bet, but I like to be able to control BOB on my own terms.

I can see it now, I'm still gonna be trying things out in the demo and the game will be two months old...LOL! Can't wait...

I finished it in messiah. It was pretty hard.

Another cool thing to do is leaving just one chot alive and giving him an empty bazooka. As Bob, let him see you he will point you but can't shoot. You can get cool shots out of that.

Do the chots really pee thru those tubes behind their legs? How many endings are their. Not really different. But sometimes the beast is killed, sometimes it kills the cops, sometimes the cops run to another position. I think this shows the great AI and gameplay it has.

Why do the guys with broken legs lose their life if they're not moving but keep it if they crawl?


Can't wait no longer

When I was demoing Messiah at the Game Developers Conference on the Expo floor, I was on the Nvidia booth and had my back to the audience. I was having a lot of fun just playing hard/agressive and getting waxed every now and again...

I turned around and Bill Gates was standing right there watching me play... You will never guess what he said!

The ending never changes for me, unless I disturb it somehow. The best thing to do is get a Gun Commander at the very end. Just after you open the door, press C to throw a distortion grenade. You can see the Riot Cops and Armoured Behemoth throw concussion grenades and the Behemoth runs around in a frenzy. I can't seem to get the Behemoth to die yet, though.
