Hmm. My general plan would go like this, but it may not be possible for a newbie to pull off. Anyway, here is what I would do.
Minimap-select manahoars, set them as group 4 (my 'hoars are always group 4), tell them Phalanx and Guard. This should put you at or less than 2 seconds elapsed time.
Make the left Lith, then the right. Make a Warmonger. Tell him to attack one of your manahoars. Guardian him. Make a second Warmonger. Grab the soul from the dead manahoar. Guardian the second Warmonger.
Go to the left Lith, make a Phoenix. Guardian it.
Keep your units healed, particularly the Warmongers. Have the Warmongers attack Marduk.
Now, if you got enough Boons, you would have a very high maximum mana level and could make a Warmonger along with the first (left) manalith, and Guardian it before making the right manalith. This would leave you with a Phoenix and a Warmonger on the Left, and one Warmonger on the Right. However, that may not be possible for you.
If that doesn't work for you, just go with 2 Phoenixes and save up some mana for spells.
Correct spell use is important. You can delay him with Firewall and pound him with various other things, particulary Rain of Fire, Firewall, and Dragonfire. Almost every Pyro spell is a damaging spell of some kind. Once you have thinned out his army you will need to actually kill Marduk (which is why I prefer Warmongers despite their frailty), finish off his high-level units, and convert.
Once you get enough of his souls that you can venture away from your manaliths, you will need to put some thought into your force. I would recommend 2 Phoenixes to absorb damage, placed in Line so they don't get in the way when casting Explosion or Rain of Fire. Then I would put four or so Warmongers in Phalanx and hotkey them for use in killing Marduk. If you wish and you find yourself with surplus souls, a pair of Bombards wouldn't be amiss for softening up Guardians. But basicly, Warmongers to dish it out, Phoenixes to take it.
