Windows ME and Msconfig
 

Just a word of warning: If you have a ton of programs in your Startup, and use Msconfig to de-select them, instead of using CTRL+ALT+DEL to close them all, make sure you leave *StateMgr selected if you want to have System Restore still running in the background. In fact, with Msconfig, I have *StateMgr selected, and ScanRegistry, to make a back-up of your registry everytime you boot up, and that's it; no Systray even.
