The performance is just fine but the hardware isn't. Put another way, Toshiba laptops break all the time. I know because I work on these things all the time. The hard drive is usually what goes out on them first, followed by a bunch of other problems. A word of advice, when you get another laptop, spend a little extra money and buy quality. Not that I'm dissing you for buying the Toshiba or something. I'm just trying to warn you of what will happen. Quote:

Not very smooth, but ok. There may still be some optimizations done though. Sting Ray: yeah, I did run into one hardware problem that kept he machine from booting, but I managaed to fix it myself. So, I can see where you're coming from. Still, now that its running smooth, I have nothing but praise so far. I just wish it did multi-texturing and fogging properly. -joby
