Metro: Last Light gets new release date Metro: Last Light was among several properties that THQ sold as it works towards bankruptcy. Metro: Last Light has gone through release changes before, with the game originally being expected in the summer of 2012. Before going under, THQ said that the game would be out in March of 2013. The rights to publishing Metro: Last Light was picked up by Deep Silver. Deep Silver is the publisher for the X3 titles and Dead Island, and also picked up the rights to Saints Row 4 from THQ in the same auction. Deep Silver has announced they will release Last Light on May 14th for the US/Canada, and May 17th for European Markets. |
Re: Metro: Last Light gets new release date I liked the first part and the book it was based on. Good to hear that the game survived THQ's bankruptcy. |
Re: Metro: Last Light gets new release date All this changing hands better not screw me, because I really want to like this game. Loved the first one. |
Re: Metro: Last Light gets new release date I don't think you have to fear that. Deep Silver have been involved in a large amount of games, and while many of them turned out bad, others were fantastic. Still, some scepticism is healthy. |
