Except for PS3, which is excluded from them all. I told you people that it would suck on the PS3; you all argued!

It sucks for PS3 owners to get shafted like that. The PS3 version of the game itself was a pretty bad port to begin with, framerate issues and such (as is the norm with any Bethesda game on PS3 really). I'm glad I traded in my copy months ago. It was a fun game but DLC is often a waste of money (though it turns out I wouldn't have had access to any anyways), and I felt like I had done everything or explored everything that was worth exploring. A few new generic armours and the ability to ride dragons doesn't seem all that interesting to me, so I doubt I'd buy it if I had the chance.

The timed exclusives suck, but for PS3 users I think it's really bad that in general all of Beth's releases for PS3 have been pretty poorly optimized and not too well supported. Ignoring for the moment that Dawnguard hasn't worked, the original release wasn't all that well done anyways for PS3 users.

Indeed. The only Bethesda game to work well on the PS3 has been Oblivion, and that was ported over by a different developer anyway.

Bethesda urgently need to create a new game engine from scratch if they plan on releasing any more games on current gen hardware (in fact, even if they don't - I don't ever want to see that Gamebryo-derived monstrosity ever again).

^ I remember Oblivion having some framerate issues on the PS3, but compared to Fallout 3, Fallout NV, and Skyrim, Oblivion worked near-perfect on the PS3. The PS3 has gotten a number of bad ports of multi-platform games over the years and Bethesda is one of the worst when it comes to porting games to the PS3.

It can only be better than the horrendous disaster called Dawnguard. About the only positive thing about Dawnguard was the Soul Cairn. Everything else felt like poorly written and not at all fitting for an entry into Elder Scrolls lore. Fortunately, it seems like Bethesda put effort into Solstheim with this.

I get the impression that Bethesda are using their 'three MS exclusive' DLC packs to get the crud out of the way while they work on something far bigger. Because from the start they've said that with Skyrim they wanted their DLC to be more like the Shivering Isles pack than the Horse Armour pack, but the last two packs feel half-arsed; I reckon they'll up their game with the 4th pack.
