Update on ex IW heads & staff Vs Activision.... Project Icebreaker???? It seems that Bobby Kotick is indeed an unscrupulous and a walking hive of scum & villainy! For example, "Project: Icebreaker". Quote:
Full article from Giant Bomb. In related news, Activision could wind up paying as much as one billion dollars to Infinity Ward founders West and Zampella, instead of the initial 36 million. Activision up for a bit of a reaming. Anyone else tempted to send Kotick an anasthetic ointment so it doesn't sting too much if he does get bent over in court?:lulz: |
Re: Update on ex IW heads & staff Vs Activision.... Project Icebreaker???? I love how all of the news coming from Activision about this case sounds like it was written by the guys that write stories for their CoD games. Anyway, good for Respawn, but I hate the they work for EA, which will treat them worse than Activision with current trends holding. |
Re: Update on ex IW heads & staff Vs Activision.... Project Icebreaker???? Seems to me like video game development is going to become as fake as professional wrestling. Talent in the midst of a terribly unelaborate plot. |
Re: Update on ex IW heads & staff Vs Activision.... Project Icebreaker???? No matter what's said in those articles, it's going to come down to what actual admissible evidence is revealed in court regarding how severely Activision will be punished, but I DO believe they will be the losing party, and rightfully so. It's starting to sound like the Watergate of gaming, with Kotich sweating as bad as Tricky Dicky was. For all we know, Zampella and West very well could have breached their contract, but even if they did, Activision will have to prove it with legally obtained evidence, and it's sounding like the brainy IW duo were smart enough to protect themselves in that regard IF they really did such a thing. So smart that it sounds like they had the Acti goons looking like Keystone Cops. LOL http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/3296/...eystoncops.jpg |
