GameStop wont be acquiring GAME, instead a firm called OpCapita has acquired the business.

I know nothing of the firm that bought them, so I'll leave the judging to someone who knows what they're talking about.

Yeah, never heard of them either. Must be just some generic holding company.

They are a French firm that bough out Comet for £2. Comet are still open and trading so I guess that is all that matters.
The banks that are owed money seem to be ok with it so I guess time will tell. It would be nice if they could publish some of the details and what they hope to do with Game and Gamestation.
