Alan Wake for PC

So Alan Wake will be released tomorrow on Steam, a couple of weeks later it will hit the stores. Anyone else here who didn't play it on a console and thinks about buying it?

I played it on a console and I'll probably buy it for PC. And damn, for some reason I just can't wait! I loved it on the console and now that it's on PC, I may just do an LP. Much easier than using a Dazzle on an Xbox. :cort:

Re: Alan Wake for PC

Just hope it's not as bad as the last Alone in the Dark. For one I'm a bit skeptical that it may focus too much on light as your sole means of navigation, combat and ultimately survival. Sort of the antithesis of Amnesia if you will, which was highly overrated IMO.

I'm kinda miffed at the news about I Am Alive and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Looks like Ubisoft even after all their draconian DRM practices is dead set on labeling most PC players as pirates like Cliffy B did. When are they going to wake up and realize that some of the protection practices they're using lately are enough to turn otherwise legit customers into pirates?

The day Ubisoft leaves the PC market is a day of celebration.

OT: Don't have the money nor interest to pick up this game at the moment.

So I bought the game. I like it so far, although the controls are a bit odd (third person with the camera located to one side that you can't run straight without making an effort). Nice atmosphere, good voice acting.

Did not buy it actually, but I want to do this soon. Never had a console and I will never have one, so I'm very happy that Alan Wake is now released for PC. It's from Remedy, must be good! :D

The XBox 360 version was actually quite good. At some point, I will definitely have to purchase this PC version! :nodding:

What's a Dazzle? And is it shiny?
