Which God? Stats? Pathing?

First, I'd like to know which god you all are playing... I like Stratos and Persephone but many multiplayers I have played with/against use Charnal... is Charnal better in multiplayer?

I know Charnal creatures drain mana/health along with real damage but where can I see some stats? I want to know health/mana/damage stats so I can compare Rangers to Sylphs...

When playing in single player mode, is it better to stick to one god or to jump around and "share" alligiance? What are the benefits to one vs the other?

Skipping around seems to be a good way to go, 'cause I think that keeps your options more or less open. I just finished like... the five levels in a row on the Stratos missions, and now I don't have that option, to play another Stratos mission.

In my opinion, the Charnel single player missions seem to be the toughest.

In the single player mode, I think it may be better to jump around a bit. However, it's a good idea to know which spells you want before you actually choose a mission.

I just picked any random level and boy am I sorry. I have a bunch of useless units/spells now, such as the flurry, frozen ground, etc. I'll make a note to be more careful the second time through.

Heh. I'll play through with Stratos or Charnel first.

Hey everybody. I beat the campaign on a path that went Stratos -> Perseph -> James, and from the end it looks like skipping around is encouraged. When you finish for the first time you get a big 'secret': access to Mithras as a multiplayer character and your character's advancement ladder for use in multiplayer games. It works like this: where normally at the beginning of a multiplayer game you'd select a god, you can instead select your character's name. The ladder you use in the multiplayer game is the same as the one you beat the campaign with. So, consider the units you'll pick up as you go through the campaign. I'm sure there'll be a lot of talk later about how to mix/match units. Hope that helps.

I played through pyro for first 3, swithed to charnel for next and it seemed to work ok...

Ummm, yeah, isn't that custom spellbooks? I think we've all been arguing about those for a while now. http://www.veforums.com/biggrin.gif

Seriously though, thanks for posting that because I had only used the hack to edit .wiz files. I suck too much to actually beat the campaign, right now I am stuck on the Stratos mission where you have to keep Hachimen and Buta from getting 4 liths, and I am totally stumped. http://www.veforums.com/frown.gif

I bring you peace and love,
Trouser
