| BrimstoneX | November 25th, 2000 10:08 PM | I have to agree, the computer gets really easy when you have enough practice under your belt. I used to get whomped within the first 5 minutes of every skirmish. But now, I recognize the pattern the AI uses EVERY single game (i.e. first they have a bunch of melee units, next wave they have some flyers, etc.), and can defeat them easily.
The only reason the single-player campaign is hard is because the computer players often start with more souls and units than you do.
The AI doesn't learn as well as it should. For the first five or so missions, all I built was ranged units. I slaughtered the computer every time. If I was playing against an AI unit, they would have defeated this strategy by the second wave of my attack.
Maybe an AI editor to go along with Scapex? |
