Really don't have a favorite game anymore... I've become sort of a drifter. With all of the games I own, it's kind of hard not to be.

But no, Halo 1 is my favorite game of all time. If it weren't then I dhouldn't be in-charge of HaloFiles, lol.

WWII Online: Battleground Europe. I know, it isn't free of charge but it has a free trial, so that kinda counts. And maybe it'll be free to play at some point anyway, so I'm just thinking ahead here.

Even though this thread is obviously the product of an advertiser looking to smuggle his wares onto the forums, I'll bite: a bit of OpenArena for me. I lost my Q3 game disc, so this suffices well - nothing beats a bit of unadulterated, old-school violence. I cannot get on with modern shooters, particularly online. Ever since CoD4, almost all shooters took on a different personality, and I don't think it was a change for the better. Halo is, ironically, one of the few shooters to have survived this paradigm shift, and I was never a fan of the Halo series when it first launched.

The only free-to-play game I've played recently is Lord of the Rings Online. Besides that, I've only recently played the Project Reality mod for BF2 and the Discovery mod for Freelancer. Freelancer is almost free these days and has 200+ person servers.
